President ISCoS

"Let’s accelerate the movement to serve our constituency."

ElearnSCI.org is an initiative conceived by ISCoS to disseminate knowledge that will improve the lives of persons with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI), in response to the rapid developments in the prevention, diagnosis and comprehensive management of SCI.

It was launched at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society in London 2012 and has since been available globally, free of Charge. It is the result of the tremendous efforts of 332 experts in the field from 31 countries in 31 subcommittees as well as the Consumers who made important contributions. This extremely valuable resource could not have been achieved without the collaborations of our partners; the Asian Spinal Cord Network (ASCoN), the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (ISIC), The Life Time Care and Support Scheme, the ISCoS Executives and ISCoS Education and Scientific Committees, and The Consumer Advisory Committee. This mammoth work was skilfully co-ordinated by the Editorial Committee of ElearnSCI.Org and the generous financial support of our sponsor, Access to Health. The list is too exhaustive to acknowledge all the contributors by name.

The Second Edition has already been translated into French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Mongolian Arabic and Hindi. It has been always available for free to users especially to those health professional globally.
